Date(s)2/17/2017 - 2/17/2017(7:00 - 14:40)
Venue:Doubletree at Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH)
OESI will support BSEE, as they conduct their 2017 public review of representative Technology Assessment Program (TAP) projects. Operating through contracts with universities, private firms, and government laboratories to evaluate safety-related technologies, the TAP has administered nearly 900 research and development projects, since its inception. As part of the Emerging Technologies Branch, the Contract Support Section (CSS), the research support element of BSEE's regulatory safety programs, ensures the necessary applied research and assesses offshore engineering technology for use in advancing BSEE's regulatory objectives. More information about BSEE's TAP program can be found here: https://www.bsee.gov/what-we-do/research/tap.
