| The Office of Environment in the BOEM Gulf of Mexico Region focuses on preparing various environmental impact statements (EIS's) and assessments that are required by law. Currently, a Draft Programmatic EIS for proposed Geological & Geophysical (G&G) activities in the Gulf of Mexico is in preparation. Several public scoping meetings will be held in affected coastal areas in June 2013 to discuss the EIS for these activities. These meetings are open to the public. The meeting time listed above is in Central Daylight Time. | |
