The Customs and Border Protection (CBP) New Orleans office is hosting a training session for industry on the Jones Act and coastwise trade laws as they apply to offshore oil and gas operations. CBP anticipates attendance from attorneys, consultants, vessel agents / brokers, as well as oil and gas companies that operate on the OCS. The goal of the training is to help industry understand how the CBP enforces the Jones Act.
Those interested in attending the session should provide their company name and number of attendees in an email to jonesact@cbp.dhs.gov.
