The Center for Offshore Safety (COS) is holding a workshop to discuss its April 2018 Guidelines for a Robust Safety Culture. Registration ends at noon on February 12, 2019.
Workshop Objectives:
- Introduce and present the COS Guidelines for Robust Safety Culture
- Discuss potential ways to use the guidance
- Collaboratively enhance the guidance to be both useful and more value-adding
- Set up further discussions on this subject
During this free interactive workshop attendees will examine real world dilemmas in trying to build, maintain, and strengthen offshore safety culture. Attendees will:
- Explore elements of a robust safety culture,
- Discuss potential success factors and obstacles,
- Examine real world scenarios and compromises, and
- Question how to use this guidance to improve and evaluate a company's culture
