The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Galveston District is holding its semi-annual Stakeholder Partnering Forum at the Texas A&M Galveston Campus. The forum is a time for the Corps to collaborate with non-federal sponsors, customers and agency partners on best practices regarding programs such as ecosystem restoration, flood risk management, maintaining and improving Texas coastal navigation systems, and regulatory oversight of U.S. waters at its Galveston headquarters.
This event helps to better support stakeholder commitments and emerging interests for Planning Studies, Preconstruction, Engineering and Design, Construction, Operations, and Maintenance. It also serves as an opportunity to network and exchange ideas on ways the Galveston District may improve its service to the region and nation.
Day One: 1:00pm - 4:00pm Project Review Board presentation
Day Two: 8:00am - 4:45pm Presentations by USACE, Texas Ports Association, and Economic Alliance Houston Port Region
Meeting Location: Texas A&M Galveston Campus Building 3035 - Room 203 200 Seawolf Parkway Galveston, TX 77554
